Saylor, diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2
Arlington, Virginia, USA

Saylor's mother wrote to Islets of Hope via the QD Quilts for Children with Diabetes program. Her young son was diagnosed at only age 2, on September 12, 2006.  She sent the following, lovely thank you note to us:

Lahle,

We received the quilt Friday and Saylor absolutely adores it.  It is beautiful and we all love it and really appreciate ALL that you do to make life a bit more comfortable for families and people with diabetes. You are a real inspiration!

I'd love to make a quilt at some point, too!

We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.

In health,

Laura, Chad and Saylor

Arlington, VA
